ལས་ཞུགས་དགུ་ཚིགས་ལྟེ་ཉིང་།
phys. Zone in the central region of some galaxies where a mass of up to 100 million times that of the Sun is concentrated, emitting large and variable amounts of radiation. About one per cent of galaxies probably house an AGN.
