མྱག་ཕུང་།
biol. Any of various amoebalike organisms that exist in both unicellular and multicellular stages and are found on decaying plant matter. Cellular slime molds usually live as single cells that move about and feed on bacteria. When food becomes scarce, large numbers mass together to form a colony that develops into a single multi-cellular, stalked, spore-producing structure.
