གློག་གློད་པ། གློག་ཤོར་བ།
phys. The liberation of energy from a distribution of electric charge when the charge flows. The source of the discharge can range from a cumulonimbus cloud, from which the discharge manifests itself as lightning, to a simple battery, in which the discharge is a current doing useful work.
